MWC2009: NETGEAR TO DEMONSTRATE LIVE 3G FEMTOCELL-ENABLED MOBILE SERVICES
NETGEAR will denote the Femtocell Voice Gateway (DVG834GH) at the Mobile World Congress. The DVG834GH integrates ADSL2+ modem, router, Ethernet LAN, Wi-Fi entrance point, Voice over-IP (VoIP), and a tiny 3G bottom hire well known as a femtocell. NETGEAR is looming at Mobile World Congress in the counter of the partner Ubiquisys.
“This open demonstration, of modernized 3G mobile voice and interpretation services integrated with landline telephony and connected and wireless multimedia, right away proves the aptitude of integrating 3G wireless, LAN, voice and WAN technologies in to Mobile Operators’ networks,” pronounced David James, NETGEAR’s executive of use provider products. “Mobile operators and consumers have been fast realizing the advantages which femtocells suggest in delivering a quad-play knowledge with softened coverage, genius and throughput to customers.”
The NETGEAR Femtocell Voice Gateway (DVG834GH) and the converged network services it delivers can be seen in movement in the Ubiquisys counter (Hall 1, Stand G19) at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, Feb 16-19, 2009.
